BIM is supporting the ‘Ocean Wealth Showcase’ at the Volvo Ocean Race!

BIM is playing its part in promoting Ireland’s Seafood Industry at this year’s Volvo Ocean Race in Galway. Now billed as one of Ireland’s biggest events, the show attracts over 600,000 people and along with other marine state agencies, BIM will be showcasing our ‘Ocean Wealth’ at the event.

BIM is playing its part in promoting Ireland’s Seafood Industry at this year’s Volvo Ocean Race in Galway. Now billed as one of Ireland’s biggest events, the show attracts over 600,000 people and along with other marine state agencies, BIM will be showcasing our ‘Ocean Wealth’ at the event.

The event starts on the 30th June and runs through to the 8th July. BIM has a number of activities planned around key themes including Innovation, Safety at Sea and Conservation. BIM’s Coastal Training Unit will also be at the event to offer advice on careers at sea as well as a variety of safety and training courses for the seafood sector.
