The show has become the go-to event for the Irish Fishing Industry and as the agency responsible for the Irish Seafood Sector; it gives us another opportunity to meet with a wide range of industry from around Ireland.

Safety at Sea will be one of our main themes at the show this year. With the recent introduction of Personal Flotation Devices with integrated Personal Locator Beacons available under grant-aid through BIM’s Enhanced Safety Training Programme, we have state of the art equipment and crucial training to assist in saving lives at sea. However, the success of the scheme depends on the take up from industry so we will be urging all skippers and crew at the show to participate in our training programme.
