The 18th Annual Class 3 Engineer Awards Ceremony organised by BIM and sponsored by Foyle Fishermen’s Co-op recently took place at the BIM National Fisheries College, Greencastle, Co. Donegal. Nine students from Donegal and Cork* completed the one year shore-based course before going to sea for a year to gain the necessary sea time experience to go forward for the Class 3 Oral examination at the Marine Survey Office in Dublin.
