BIM webinar – To help business trading with or through GB prepare for changes to import controls from 01 October 2021

BIM is hosting a webinar for industry next week on Thursday 2 September at 10:00 GMT to help businesses prepare for the new changes to import controls arising from Brexit.

From 01 October 2021, the UK is introducing new import controls on certain categories of EU goods, including seafood. These changes will impact seafood businesses trading with or through the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).

The short 60-minute webinar includes a Q&A session and is designed to help seafood business understand the steps they can take to prepare for these new changes.

Kevin Honan, Director of Development and Innovation Services BIM, will open the session followed by Conor Anderson, Customs Expert, Performance SC who will deliver the main presentation and answer any questions attendees may have.
