BIM/ IFA Aquaculture Mussel Industry Workshop

BIM is hosting a technical workshop for Ireland’s mussel sector on the mornings of Thursday 7 & Friday 8 April, 2022.

In the afternoon of 7 April IFA Aquaculture will host their annual conference and AGM.  Full details of the two days are available on the eventbrite link below.

Presentations and discussions at the workshop will address the priorities of the upcoming European Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund  (EMFAF) to include the following:

– the continued development of a sustainable and competitive sector

– supply of quality, healthy and safe seafood

– documentation of carbon footprint of the Irish mussel industry and management of marine biodiversity.

A corporate rate of €89 – pp ( or €69 pp in a twin/double occupancy room) has been agreed with Hotel Westport for the 7^th of April, 2022.
