Training Methodology

This is a classroom based course where the objectives are to give basic induction training in safety procedures and accident prevention and to familiarise personnel with the employment conditions and working environment on-board vessels.

 

Certification

Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities issued by BIM on behalf of Department of Transport.

 

Entry Requirements

Working in the seafood industry or public service

 

Progression and Employment Opportunities

This course is a requirement for working on a vessel.
