This course is classroom based, and utilising ship simulators.

 

Certification

Department of Transport certificate of Navigation Command and Control.

 

Entry Requirements

 

Progression

Essential ancillary course for Second Hand Full candidate to upgrade their Certificate of Competency to Skipper Limited, and to enable a Skipper Full candidate to obtain a Certificate of Competency.

 

Employment Opportunities

This programme is essential to obtain Skipper Limited & Skipper Full Certificates of Competency which provide employment opportunities as a Skipper.

Continual practical assessment throughout the programme.
