Twelve Irish aquatech companies took part in Aqua Nor, the aquaculture technology conference in Norway this month, supported by BIM, Enterprise Ireland and Hatch Blue.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured Norwegian hatcheries and farms to deepen their understanding of international industry practices.
Enterprise Ireland and Claire Buckley, Ambassador of Ireland to Norway and Iceland, hosted a reception for the Irish delegates, providing an opportunity to present their businesses and highlight their potential contributions to the aquaculture industry.
BIM, Hatch Blue, and Enterprise Ireland also hosted an Irish networking reception at the conference, attracting visitors from across the event to the Irish stand to exchange ideas and explore collaboration opportunities.
The event is supported by the Government of Ireland and the EU under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund.
