Future-proof your finances

Sustaining families in coastal communities ensures a thriving local economy and has an impact on the wider national economy. BIM, as part of its Women in Seafood Programme, recognises the role women play in managing small family businesses.
BIM is planning a series of workshops to support and develop the seafood industry. Key topics will include the following:

  • Legal entities and options available to set up and register a business
  • Succession and estate planning
  • Employment law
  • Evaluating borrowing ability
  • Loan applications and grant aid opportunities through BIM schemes.

Invited guest speakers include Art Kavanagh and Eibhlin O’Sullivan, who have extensive experience in these important areas within the seafood sector.

To attend either event, please register in advance as places are limited.
