The following is a series of Frequently Asked Questions and relevant answers about the National Seafood Awards 2018
Completed entry forms must be received by 17.00 on Friday, 14 September 2018.
If you wish to send attachments as part of your award entry, you are welcome to do so at the time of emailing. Ensure your entry form is complete, then mail with attachments to: Awards2018@bim.ie

There is no limit to the number of categories you or your organisation can enter. However, be sure to thoroughly check the requirements for each award to ensure entry eligibility.
There is no fee to enter the National Seafood Awards.
The National Seafood Awards 2018 will be held in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin on the night of Tuesday, 27 November 2018.
If you are selected for the awards shortlist, you will be contacted by BIM on Wednesday, 10 October 2018.
BIM will provide a shortlist information update for every shortlisted entrant.
The overall winners for each award will be announced at the gala dinner awards ceremony on Tuesday, 27 November 2018.
There is no fee to attend The National Seafood Awards 2018 as this is an invitation-only event.
Each shortlisted entrant will be provided with information on hotels in the vicinity of Christ Church Cathedral.
The overall winner from each category will receive a specially commissioned trophy and a plaque for their business premises, both of which will be presented on stage during the awards ceremony.
All shortlisted entrants will receive a finalist’s certificate.
By car or on foot
Christchurch Place is on many Dublin Bus routes, including the 123, 13, 27, 40, 49, 77a and 77x. See dublinbus.ie for further information.

Christ Church Cathedral is approximately 15-minutes walking distance from Heuston Station and a 20-minute walk from Connolly Station. Both stations are served by Irish Rail from locations throughout the country. The Dublin Bus route number 90, departs from both stations and stops on the north and south side of the quays (River Liffey) in close proximity to Christ Church Cathedral.
Christ Church Cathedral is located at approximately a 10-minute walk from Tara Street dart station.
Christ Church Cathedral is served by the Luas Red Line. Get off at the Four Courts stop and cross the river on to Winetavern Street.
There is no parking available on the cathedral grounds. The nearest car park is Q-Park Christ Church, accessed from Werburgh Street just across from the cathedral. The cathedral can supply you with a discount ticket at the welcome desk on production of your car park ticket. This ticket includes a special rate of €2.50 per hour (up to a maximum cost of €12.50) from 9am-5pm. Alternatively, for evening events, you may purchase a ticket from the customer service desk in Q-Park Christ Church for hours between 6pm-11.59pm.
Tickets to this event are available on an invite-only basis and cannot be bought.
