The National Seafood Awards 2018 shortlist has been issued. The winners will be announced at the official ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin on Tuesday 27 November 2018.

Since beginning in 2016, these biennial Awards have been identifying and recognising people, projects, partnerships and business who work to promote and support Innovation, Sustainability, Competitiveness and Skills in every area of Ireland's vibrant seafood sector.

Winners will be announced on 27 November 2018 at a gala dinner awards ceremony.

Who Has Been Shortlisted?

37 finalists, from fishermen and fish farmers to processors and retailers working in Ireland's seafood sector, have been shortlisted for awards spanning four core categories - Skills, Sustainability, Innovation and Competitiveness - in subcategories recognising excellence in all areas of the industry, including Fishing, Aquaculture, and Processing.

The National Seafood Awards is a leading awards programme that recognises and celebrates excellence in the seafood industry in the categories of Skills, Sustainability, Innovation and Competitiveness.

Winners of these categories will be announced at a gala dinner event for 180 invited guests, held on Tuesday 27 November 2018 at Dublin's iconic Christ Church Cathedral. The capital city's oldest building, Christ Church has been a place of pilgrimage for nearly 1,000 years and is world-renowned for its beauty and architecture.
